I love Hobbes! And Calvin too! Hes just so bad! There was another thread about having a nice tummy, and it just reminded me of Hobbes, because he always wanted his tummy rubbed! | |

I've never had imaginary friends but a few months ago had a strange experience with some lights. (  ). Three came to visit me in my bedroom and then the whole room lit up. It kind of freaked me out at the time but since then I have been seeing other things.
I know it sounds crazy. But I also know they're real. I just don't know exactly what they are.  I am happy they're coming to see me though, and I believe it's as a result of some of the learning I've been doing this year.
They're almost always ball-shaped, and sometimes look like smoke, or string, or lights. | |

I think in the past I would've questioned it but the first experience, when the lights lit up the room terrified me and excited me at the same time. I went rushing into my partner who was on the computer in the next room and asked whether he was running a program which could flash lights into my room. He wasn't. But I knew the lights were inside the room. I'd watched them and I wasn't asleep. Just as I got scared, they went. I think perhaps I'm not ready for them so they're coming in more subtle forms now. I'm learning about energy, healing and spiritual matters at the moment, or rather my lifestyle over the past couple of years has revolved around those topics to some extent. Friends have come into my life who generally are either healers or teachers on those subjects. I think the things I'm seeing are all because of that. I don't feel they're in my mind, but I have wondered on occassion. But I do know I'm seeing them for real because sometimes they come so close I can touch them. They almost never appear when I'm in bed now - I think they probably know I couldn't handle that as I got too scared the first time  | |

I often feel my fathers presence, who died 5 years ago, and I know for a fact hes there, and I dare him to show himself. but he doesnt, probably because I spent the last 5 years telling him not to becuase I couldnt handle it! People who are more connected, spiritually, have educated me and made me feel more connected, and there must be a reason for that. thank God you werent alone! I went to a medium a few years ago, who described a friend of mine who'd died young. I was with another friend who knew her and I was totally in awe of how this woman described her. She mentioned things that only I knew, for instance that she never made it up with her mother before she died and that she died quick and unexpectedly. There was some other stuff which I won't go into here, but basically there is no way this woman didn't have Louise there with her. I asked her whether I'd ever see Louise again and the medium said "she says you will, but you're not ready yet". I'm not sure exactly what that means - whether I will see her when I die or whether she will appear to me during my lifetime. Obviously I'm hoping for the latter

- absolutely.  That's really the essence of how I believe this all works - we're all connected in some way and people do come into our lives to help us to learn and to teach us lessons (some of them hard ones).

This past year has been really really wierd for me, I constantly feel like Im being watched and moved and generally pushed into fated situations by some sort of higher power. Ive also met a whole lot of people who have had an important affect on me, or been part of an important event, that felt fated. im not kidding, just one wierd event after another, all of which ended in lessons that I would have never ever seen coming. Anyway. Thats all for another thread! I hope you continue on your enlightened path, at your own pace of course! | |
