You've neglected doing something. Some task that you agreed to do, that you wish you hadn't agreed to do.

You put it off, day after day: "I'll do it tomorrow. I don't want to do it, but I'll do it... tomorrow."

Of course, you never do it. The person who asked for your help reminds you fairly frequently, and you brush them off: "Yeah, I'm working on it. Just slowly. You know, I've just been so busy..."

I'm on vacation and actually doing my task (finally).
