Spats said: Whenever the subject about how Toronto is in decline the defence is "Well at least it's not as bad as New York or Chicago". That defence is lame. We have shootings everyday in this city now. Things won't improve as long as people keep saying "Well at least we are not as bad as...."
As the population continues to grow, it is inevitable that we will be dealing with more crime (although, our crime rate per capita is nowhere near the cities mentioned). And we do not have shootings "everyday [sic]" here. 
You're always talking about how you'd prefer to be in New York or L.A., well those cities have much more violence than we do. |
