New years resolutions

What are yours?

I turned 21 on the 20th so every yr i try and make that yr a better one but it mostly ends up being the same, dealing with the same shit etc so as i turned the big 21 new start so

Mine this year:

Start a business
Omit everything and everyone ( for once and for all) that serves me no purpose, no benefit
Lose a little bit of weight
Try to make money so I can move out, even if it is reallllly small!
Getting my name out there more

um..... oh finish my screenplays and finally publish the kids book

- finally get laid with someone who looks more like a girl than I do
- stop crying during the final scene of "Karate Kid", if they show that thing on TV again
- quit eating macaroni every other day
- finally manage to play through all the missions of the original "Laser Squad" -game from the 80s.
- not to kill my neighbours (only because I am afraid of the consequences though)

I'm being serious, for real.

Not to be a grump, but I don't believe in New Years' resolutions. Life can begin anew any day of the year.

Love can be given.
Choices can be made.

Don't wait! Even if it's only a few days.

Agreed! It is also fun to know that a new year is around the corner! A different kind of fresh slate!

the end of the year can also be a nice springboard for a new year's resolution.

like, you can decide what you want to do in the next year to improve your life, and then you can start brainstorming over the last few weeks of this year about how you plan on going about it, or if it's something that would even really benefit you. the few days or weeks before a resolution can be a good little springboard for a big life change.

mine are not so much New Years resolutions as NOW resolutions...

to not allow myself to be walked over by people in my life who claim to love and care about me but plainly don't

to open myself to being happy - TRULY happy in my own skin

to make the most of being in this beautiful, amazing and wonderful place nod
