Steadwoods Christmas Special...... Merry Christmas Everyone...
...Hope All is going well for you.... Christmas in Steadwood Land began slowly..... ...With a Tree... 
....Myself...Pa Sandalwood, Brother Redwood and Oakwood went to pick the tree up this year.... ...Pa Ordered it....but ordered it in feet instead of inches... 
As you can see it was quite a struggle.... 
But eventually we got it home and put it up ...All we had to do now was decorate it..... ...Brother Redwood was eager....but looked sorta lost with his giant golden balls  
....But I'm sure we'll get it done..... .....Somehow....

It was Ma Rosewood who got into the spirit of things....
....She climbed the tree like a rat up a drain pipe ...I'm glad she wore underwear  
...The Twins were eager to join in too..... 
....And were quick to get up the tree...they climbed pretty high... 
...er....maybe a bit too high....   
....Soon it was pretty much done.... 
...The Twins ran of to play... ...and we got to work putting some of the presents under the tree.... 
We enlisted the help of our good freind ...Brutuswood... 
....Personal guard to...HRT....(Her Royal Troll) ..
....To stop the Twins from sneaking a peek...(usually Brother Redwoods obsession....and I'm not talking "presents" ...if you know what I mean 
All is going a little too well this year 
...Then Pa Sandalwood....Started eating the pickled onions....
...And proceeded to stink the place out with the scent of Christmas past...
Yep....Christmas had arrived in Steadwood Land...
...Stay tuned to see what happened next.....

I`ve read that Greta Garbo had dam trolls when she was old. A friend of her that used to visit her in the apartment, found trolls hidden under the sofa

The.....(and pay heed ye non beleivers)....
.....in the small hours of Christmas morning.....All our work payed off... 
....Came Santa himself..... 
....With the rest of the presents.... ....and here is the proof....

There had been a snowfall overnight :snow:
....and the twins weren't interested in opening their presents straight away
...They just wanted to be out in the snow 
....So off we all went...not realising how slippy it was as Brother redwood went arse over tit 
He was Ok though....
....It was just good to be able to rest and relax a little....especially after our recent busy spell... ...Helping the Gnome Liberation Front ...
The Twins were excited and started a snowball fight...
...Yellowwood has a good aim...
Ironwood isn't so great with his though....
....and catches me full on in the face...
I seem to remember this happening last year...
....don't I Brother Redwood...
Anyway....The Twins run on ... ....and come across an ice cave 
We hear them shouting..... ...and come running 
Sure enough....it's an Ice cave alright.....
...and there looks to be something inside...
....What is it????.....

What was this strange creature lurking in the ice cave?
...Whatever it is .....it sees us ....and hears our voices...
....There is a scurrying sound....
....A bit like the sound a rat makes as it sharpens it claws on sandpaper....
....Then.....out comes a very rare animal indeed!
It's our long lost cousin.....Bluewood.... 
....Now ...Bluewood....as I have already mentioned ...is a very rare animal indeed. ...He's sorta a cross between a bloodhound and a hedgehog...
...Hence he is called a Hedgedog...
...He is very valuable to any Treacle mining Troll...as he can find seams of Treacle..... ...and all things sweet in the ground...
....This is due to his sharp sense of smell and his unique knowledge and instinct for the underground world....
...Now then....
...Has he just come for Christmas or is he here to stay... 
...Whichever it is....he and the twins are really taken with each other...He can teach them a lot... 
....Christmas has started well....
...and I don't think it's over yet.... 
...Tune in tomorrow for another helping.....if you want to of course
