Today my daughter said it was the best Christmas ever And because she said that, it was.
Didn't have a lot of money to spend this year but it didn't matter. Last night my 4 year old was the best singer in the pre-school group at church. This morning she loved her gifts and my 7 month old was beaming at her stuff and squealing and cooing up a storm. We took them to church and they both got baptised today. Then we came home, played, ate a turkey breast, and reflected. On days like this, all my problems seem minute and I am happy to be alive. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, whatever holiday you observe. All good things they say never last... | |
