I was watching 'Carrie' last night and it got me thinking. Sure it was terrible that Carrie was horribly bullied and the climatic act shocking. But should she have used her powers to seek a terrible revenge on John Travolta and Nancy Allen but even the school?!

I was thinking to what lengths should someone seek revenge? Can a revenge ever be morally justified if its deemed somewhat worse than what provoked the response?

Actually, I believe that revenge is probably a person's best bet. What better way to leave a lasting impression? With the recent passing of "Tookie," I just had a similar conversation with a coworker. She supports the death penalty, and I don't - however I'm vendictive as hell! The death penalty doesn't resolve anything seeing as to how it's not consistent, but let a court of law consistently allow a victim's family to have their way as sentencing...You'd see a lot less "bullying in school."

The story wasn't about "revenge". She Snapped because of the presures of her mother's psychosis in regards to religious zeal. Then upon getting pigblooded, she was in a defencive attack, she was simple resonding to the precieved attack of others with agression.
