I’m not going get into naming names or trying to start a thread that just ends up making anyone feel like the last person to get picked in gym class to join this or that team.
This year has been filled with bitter and sweet moments for me. It was neither my most terrible year, nor was it exactly all that exciting. In short, it was just another year filled with few accomplishments and about as many frustrations and disappointments.

There was always one place I could escape if just for a few minutes, or hours upon hours. Sounding like a bad parody of a movie review, I found myself laughing, filled with anger, and sometimes moved to tears. Of course, I'm speaking about this wierd place--the Org.

As this new year comes, I truly wish those of you here the very best. And I challenge you as I am currently challenging myself: Life is a struggle, and it will defeat you if you lay idle consumed with fear and doubt. Toughen yourself. This year, fight for what you believe and the life that you want. Disregard any notion that you have failed and aspire to be that perfect person you can be, and that you currently are.

I love you.




PS: Don't expect me to act nearly as gay in 2006. Thank you.
