Advice from the guys Hey all you guys/pimps/men out there. I need a little advice regarding my man's actions as of late. One night he came home (we live together and have been for numerous years) hours after bar close saying he passed out at girls house. The next night he doesn't come home until the next day again saying that he passed out at yet a different girls house. Now both of these women are much younger than him and have room-mates. He swears up and down that absolutely nothing happened and I have no worries. And he has always been truthful to me in the past. I trust him, but am I being stupid/naive about his actions? All the ladies out there seem to think so. But I choose to believe my man. He has never done this in the past to me. He swears he loves me and wants to be with me. Advice or comments would be appreciated.

What's he doing at a girls house after the bar closes? I mean you go to a bar...have drinks and leave when it closes or before. Anything else is suspect. Christian Zombie Vampires

So hes going to this bar , getting trashed , going home with a girl and passing out ....2 nights in a row? nothing happened? sounds very fishy , but then if he was sneaking around on you , would he actually say he went to a womans house? do you know these women?

Most guys have a tendency to pass out when they're at another girl's house after the bar.But it's not their fault.
It's cuz of the sex. | |

If he wanted to lie about what (might have) happened with them he'd probably come up with something better than "I slept at two different girls' houses and nothing happened". For example he could have easily said "I slept at my mate Dave's place" or whatever. So I actually think his story makes him sound more believable (unless he's either really sneaky or really daft ). I do however think it seems very inappropriate that he crashes at other girls' places without your consent, so if he didn't acknowledge this as a problem then that should be an issue in and of itself. Edit: Ah, I just read that you know one of them. Then he might feel pressured to admit he was there in case you'd bump into her. It wouldn't look good with two mismatching stories. It doesn't necessarily mean he lied though. Only you know him well enough to be able to read his eyes. [Edited 12/21/05 14:52pm]

All I know is one of my ex's used to always pull that shit. He would get himself into many comporomising positions(pun intended) and then admit the absolute most that he could and then leave the rest out. Years later what my gut was telling me was confirmed.
All men are different. Put jealousy aside, if you can, and look at the situation. What does your gut tell you? AND would he be okay if you were to do the same thing? Set some rules girl. hmm this is hard to say. It's true what somebody else said, if he wanted to lie about it, he just would have said he was at one of his boys house and quickly cut the conversation off or changed the subject. But he didn't, he told you he was at two different girl's houses....
it is suspect, not only are you passing out at girl's houses, but two different ones??? And you are suppose to take that and be like "oh well dear, next time you have to watch your alcohol intake?" Oh hell naw, you'd better say that you have a problem with it ASAP, cuz if you don't it will keep happening over and over again...until you start to resent him for it. If he feels like you don't care now about what is going on, (that is if nothing really didn't happen) then he will see how much he can get away with. put your foot down now, whether you think its more to the story or not, let him know what you will and will not tolerate. Hope this helps. [Edited 12/21/05 17:20pm] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

cripes. i saw the username for this thread and almost fell over.
i thought maybe Miss LaVishH was back. (to the original poster: sorry, i have no good advice about your situation. but it sounds weird to me. and if he's not cheating on you, then i'd still be concerned that he's going out that frequently and getting smashed to the point of passing out. good luck to you.)

He's admitting to have slept at a girls house...so he feels better at least giving that up. Like he's an "honest guy" and not making the whole thing up.
