wow! i was watching that special about the frozen in time thing on tlc this morning and they showed some of his street tricks. how the hell does he do it?!?! he had diamonds popping outta his eye ball, was burning m's into books, had cards goin into basketballs, had some chicks face appear on his belly, even made a man win the lottery!!!!! how does he do it?!?!

I was blown away but him when I first saw him but...his shtick got old real fast to me. His whole low tone speaking voice and yeah umm way of talking drives me crazy now. He needs to get real.
My brother in law is a very good magician and he thinks David sux! Hates his delivery...says he makes his audience look stupid.
He is kinda cute though..in a Prince sort of way.

When I first saw his "street magic" or what-the-fuck-ever it was on TV, I thought it was kinda cool. The card tricks were entertaining. But then with all those lame-o Houdini wannabe dangling from a wire by his toenails for 48 days endurance test things, I got bored. It was all so boring, like it shoulda been backed by a Michael Bolton soundtrack.

Basically, what the people on the street saw was the "Balducci levitation" trick, which is neat, but much less impressive than what was shown on TV. For the TV version, they spliced in footage of David being lifted up by some off-camera artificial means.
