I'm with a andy...I do love me some coors....but sadly the Coors family is about as evil and corrupt as the Bush family. They used to hold cross burnings on the brewery grounds way back when....
I know I know..they don't do that anymore but....I just can't support them.

There are TONS of United States Brewerys that are as good as the best European suds.

Their politics are still incredibly scary. I won't buy their products anymore. 'Sides, everyone knows Canadian beer smokes that American swill. And U.S. brew has a lower alcohol content (pussies!). canada woot!

Don't buy Coors! From the first Web page I pulled-up (re: boycotting companies):

It surprised me that not very many people mentioned Coors (or their brands George Killiann's Red, Herman Joseph, Golden Lager, Masters). Longtime Bohemian Club member Joseph Coors has such rightwing politics that his beer has been the target of organized boycotts by labor (heavy duty union busting in the '70's), pro choicers, gay rights groups, black organizations and just about any organized group working for justice. He was a major backer of the Contras in Nicaragua and cofounder of the rightwing Heritage Foundation founded in 1973. If there is one thing that progressives can unite around it is a boycott of Coors beer.

There are some excellent smaller breweries in the US. I'm gonna look for the Bell's,I've never seen it yet. Flying Bison has a couple of great brews, too.

Oh merde! sad
Was Labatt's part of the merger? There's still a lot of great Canadian beer, but those are the easiest to buy in the States.
I know you can't get away from the S and B's ect, but I try. I almost cried when I read that Walter Cronkite was one of them. sad
