I would of stopped. If that were you lying on the road still alive would you not want anybody to stop and help you?

Yesterday I was driving my stepdad to the airport and we were running pretty late. He was going to China and there is only one flight a day so it was pretty important he caught it. Anyway all of a sudden a few cars in front of us started pulling off the highway and as I slowed down to drive through on the left side of the road half in the shoulder and half in the road was a young woman laying face down on the road. She wasn't moving at all and this was a free way so of course we assumed the worse and we couldn't really figure out how she had got there.

There was no way we could stop and make the flight and besides a number of other people were already stopping but still we felt a little guilty.

I assumed she was dead and I found it very troublesome to think about all day yesterday but in todays paper it just said she was injured when her boyfriend pushed her out of the car. I mean that is still really bad but at least she is alive.

Thursday, a friend of mine in austin was driving home to her family after work on the freeway. suddenly she saw a lady carrying a bag of groceries calmly crossing the traffic lane on foot, across the freeway, the lady passed in front of her and then got clipped by a car in the next lane, then hit by many cars after that. My friend turned away when the groceries flew everywhere, and drove onto t he feeder to call 911 and was in a traumatized state. As her husband talked to her on the phone, he heard the ambulances and firetrucks coming from outside his windows (they live close to the freeway). The crazy lady was completely obliterated by the freeway traffic.

Pedestrian crossing I-35 hit, killed

A Kyle woman was killed Thursday as she attempted to cross Interstate 35 at the Bunton Overpass, police Lt. Pedro Hernandez said.

About 6 p.m., Marilyn Wright Ibarra, 48, was walking along the southbound shoulder when she tried to cross through traffic, Hernandez said. She made it through two lanes, Hernandez said, but was clipped by a car's side-view mirror in the fast lane and run over by several vehicles.

Hernandez said he did not know why she was on the interstate. There were no disabled vehicles around, he said.

I was in Reno with my mom on one of those "old lady casino" trips. My boyfriend and I were in the front of the bus with my mom. We saw a semi-truck clip the corner of a small car. The car spun and spun and we noticed that the person in the front seat was no longer there. She had flown out and was on the left shoulder. It was horrifying. She was shuddering violently. It really effected me and I couldn't sleep at night. It kept replaying over and over in my head. I guess it was post traumatic stress.
