I am not sure this thread will fail. You present the topic in a very intresting way and it has a very strong novelty aspect. I have not in my life up to this very moment ever heard of eyebrow threading. For a moment is sounded like you had eyebrows sown into your skin above your eyes. What is it? What does it look like?

When I had my nipples pierced, I took Valium or Xanax (can't remember which) beforehand. It was interesting... I still felt the pain, but, for lack of a better description, I didn't care about it.

Not at the moment, unfortunately. If you go to BME, they have a picture in their archives, but it's old enough now that you need a paid subscription to access it, I think.

Yes, I do get my eyebrows waxed, and I was doing it before Queer Eye for the Straight Guy made it "okay" for men to have it done. Actually, it was my ex-wife who got me started... she told me I was getting waxed, booked an appointment for me, and took me in.

If I do nothing, I'll have a uni-brow. I used to just pluck out the middle hairs with tweezers, but she said my thick eyebrows detract attention from my eyes.

i'ma stick to tweezing my brows. it's funny, i was talking on the phone with my dad last sunday and i had just got done plucking my eyebrows before he called me, so i told 'im. he was like, "why dont'cha just do like your mom did, and shave 'em all the way off and draw 'em on?"

yeah, my mom shaved her brows clean off and drew 'em on everyday with one of those red maybelline eyebrow pencils. i still remember the smell of the pencil as she did it, too.
