I work from home, a freelance designer...and my only "coworkers" are employees of a company that resides back east, 3,000 miles away. So today we're all working on trying to finisb up this huge, complex registration site before the COB today (close of bidniz)...which is three hours earlier for them than it is for me.

Anyway, it's pushing on 5pm their time...and we still have about an hour of work to do (four of us together, so it's about 4 man hours)...and suddenly I get an email saying that the reg site will have to be done by 9am tomorrow instead of by 5pm tonight...because they all have to go off to the office xmas party! "Wish you were going too, Byron" is how they ended the email...lol ...Oh, and they also said "Is there anything else you need from us to finish this up tonight before we leave?"...a none-too-subtle way of saying "We're off to go eat, get drunk have a ball...finish up, will ya?"...lol

So now, after being pushed even further behind by another guy I do work for......I'm about an hour or so from being done...and I"m in the mood for my own damn xmas party.. I'm off to get some damn beer...anyone wanna join me?
