He said, Luke, stay away from the darker side
And if you start to go astray, let the Force be your guide

I know Darth Vader’s really got you annoyed
But remember, if you kill him, then you’ll be unemployed

Umm...no, not really. smile

"hard cover", so if times get bad, i can sell it at a used book store. sometimes hard times come unexpectedly. Also many hardcover books hold can be used as equitable items, i.e. for loans, etc.

I like the tattered paperback Penguin's. Especially something like a Kafka or Sartre novel.

I prefer hardcovers, but they're heavier when you're reading in bed (which is where I read most).

So I guess what I get most is Quality Paperback--the larger paperbacks, which tend to be writing of higher quality anyway than pocket, or mass market, paperbacks.

soft cover. But thing is, if its a library book (which it often is), then the covers get fucked up easier with soft-back. Iam very untidy and really do not look after things very well sad

Thanks for the reply! Poetry for you?

my sincere apology for putting the cart before the horse in answering your question. doh!
I say your works should start out in hardback.
1. A good book should be in hardback. It looks better on the shelf
2. Hardback adds longevity to the life of the book
3. Many people perfer hardback to add to their collection
4. Many authors lean toward hardback when an autograph is requested
5. For those who intend to share your book "hardcover" will withstand the
wear and tear.
Advantages of softcover
1. They are easier to transport and pack for the traveler
2. More affordable for a lot of people
3. Good for those who are in a rush to read your material
4. Some people choose to read a book only once.

Note: while i gathered some of these opinions from a site called
"Book reporter.com. I myself am partial to hardback books.

Good luck 2 u ...and
clapping kudos, 4 ur creative drive flower
