When Shay and I are out ... going about our day hanging out together... often times i notice that people seem to see us as, or think we are a happy gay couple ...

now i often wonder why it is that 2 women who are not gay ... married for almost 20 yrs to great men ...with children ...can be mistaken for gay gurls

what is up with that ...and do you have things like this happen often ?

a lot of women don't value true sisterhood anymore, at least not my age. I rarely see girls my age with close knit bonds Some girls my age are so busy being catty and backstabbing to form close bonds with other girls. Another thing... I think it's sad now that you can't even compliment another woman without some people assuming you're gay.

This is no joke. Growing up in Alabama, it was a common misconception there that ast least half the men in the UK were gay. I guess it was all those bands like the Cure and Flock of Seaguls that exasterbated the myth.
