Were you drunk on your wedding day?

I just went to a wedding on Saturday and the groom was SOOOOO plastered it was not funny. I mean that was what the bucks night was for, right? confused The bride was quite upset about it. Good start! Hope that's not a sigh of things to come. disbelief

This guy was all sweaty and icky disbelief my friend didn't even like to kiss him at the reception!

Before our wedding my husband I agreed to drink to the toasts and that was all, we remember the day and behaved with dignity and grace!

falloff thumbs up! Nah, I hope this isn't what she's in for long term. He'll hear about it enough, maybe it'll shame him into acting better? Let's hope smile

Oh yeah! I've seen this happen when photographing weddings. It doesn't happen that often, usually they all get drunk at the reception.

It's apalling is what it is!
And I hope you dress up a bit to photographing the wedding! The guy doing the photos for this one looked like he had not washed his hair in 3 weeks disbelief and his shoes were all ripped apart.

I wear a suit and tie. I figure that, even though I'm there to do a job, I've been invited to a wedding. So I should look as though I'm going to one.

I hate that.

A younger cousin of mine just got married a couple of months back. My wife and I got all excited and bought to much wedding day gift. The wedding turned out to be an "open bar" for him her and all their drunkard friends. Our present didn't even get opened. It kinda sucked. We live and learn. We never did get a thank you not or nothing. hummmph, ain't that a mother.

P.S. it was a shotgun wedding because the bride already had one in the oven.

Our gift was a bottle of dom, waterford crystal, champine flutes for tiffanies, and something else.

I can't say I actually saw her having a drink. I am not sure if she was drinking or not, however I am sure almost everyone else was.

Nope, not at all. And we did have an open bar.

BTW, the place where we held the reception normally required that an off-duty law enforcement officer be hired for events with alcohol. But since my father-in-law was himself a law enforcement officer, as were many of the guests (we even had an FBI agent present), they made an exception for us. smile

you dont want to get married fine, but some people can handle responsibility, and for those that can and do your comment says more about you than them.

you even give sad losers a bad name.
