ok, so, this woman ordered a braclet from me....

i made and sent the braclet to her....

for whatever reason, she claims she never recieved the braclet....


ok, i called her, talked to her and let her know that if it did not arrive in the next few days, that i would REMAKE it and send it to her again... (thought it might take some time to get to her due to the holiday mail rush)

well, the woman is a grandmother, shes older, so, her granddaughter was with her that day when she purchased the item, it needed to be sized, so, thats where the time for me to work on it came in... i HATE resizing things because for the most part folks are never happy with them when they get them.

anyway, so, the granddaughter just called ..... says grandma wants her money back instead. i called her back and said, im sorry, first of all, i need to know where the other braclet is... secondly, you need to understand that we were not under any type of time frame to begin with (although, in this case, the braclet is a Christmas theme.. so that makes it a bit rougher)

at any rate, she is screaming at me on the phone and im like, hold on, dont scream at me.... we can work this out, if you like, you can come over and pick up a new one....

thats not good enough for her, she got pissed and said fuck it, im calling the cops !!!!!


what do i do with grandma and this chic thats screaming at me ????

did she purchase any type of shipping insurance?? if no then, too bad so sad. by contacting the post office/FedEx/UPS whatever, with your receipt they should be able to track the package.

i think you are being more than reasonable by offering to make another...especially by offering to have them pick it up (which would ensure they receive it and in a timely manner).

if she calls back tell her to go ahead and call the police, that you are willing to give a replacement but that refunds are not your policy.

The are only using "calling the cops" as a scare tactic. That shit isn't acceptable. if the cops contact you they will handle it profestionally.

Maybe they didn't get the bracelet. Maybe you should review your mailing system. I always get one of them tracking cards on my packagages sent. the change it cost is worth the pain and hassel of this type stuff.

I would be willing to bet they got the bracelet and "didn't like it" or wanted it for nothing. this wouldn't be the first or last time something like this happens.

Calling the cops? She'z just tryin to scare you. There are people out there who do ALLL kindz of thingz to jib people out of business. The first thing they do is go all dramatic on you- when you're calmly trying to explain and work out the situation with the person involved. They get MORE agrivated. So they threaten to take it to a "higher" source in order to get what they want.
Let her call the police - they may already have been contacted by her on numerous occasionz, like for the spare ball of wool she bought but didnt need and couldnt refund! (lol speaking hypothetically ofcourse!!)
