Actually, he doesn't focus on "model-type" beauty (he likes mesomorphs with big boobs), but that's neither here nor there.

Again, I never disagreed with him that it is foolishness to pretend that looks are not a factor in what you find attractive. But it is the fool who focuses on looks alone.

Well, first of all, I've never started a thread about Tyra (she doesn't ring my bell) and the only thread I've posted about Kate Moss was to do with the coke scandal. I do find Kate physically attractive and have said so here when others have posted about her, but this whole discussion is about the foolishness of basing a relationship strictly on looks in the real world and that is something I am not dumb enough to do. Again, you'll notice that the women I tend to name here on these 'Celebs you're attracted to' lists are not exactly deficient in the intelligence category. And, incidentally, I think Tyra is fairly intelligent (although certainly not in the league of my Elyse ).

Anyone who's read my posts consistently knows that I constantly refer to the fact that I love a witty woman and find this hot.

It's often hard to really know somebody (or easier not to try), so you tend to quickly form an opinion of someone's personality based on what you have to work with, and I know where apples is coming from. I have noticed the type of women whose beauty you champion though, and it's not purely physical, although having said that, I can't remember a thread you started that wasn't about beauty, modeling, America's Next Top Model etc.
