do you prefer soft-cover or hard cover books!

Just a question, I want to see what people like more as I am thinking about making editions of my two poetry books into hardcovers . So in the end there will be hard covers and soft covers, 2 versions of each book thanks!

***** If I get many responses 4 hardcovers there will be a thread announcement when that happens, keep ur eyes open!*****LOVE M

I have a nice collection of old books with hard covers, when dust jackets were not in swing. I collect children books from way back when.

In an ideal world, i'd have soft cover to take with me out, and hard coverz to read at home nod

Hard coverz are rather seductive to me for some reason- i've felt that way since i was a little girl lol Special Edition coverz also entice me. Doesn't change the book inside, i'm just a sucker for that kind of thing!!

Hard covers... with a dust jacket for display purposes, but removed during reading and extendeed handling to preserve its newness.

Still...
After handling loads of paperbacks of your fave book, it is like a dream to find a cheap first edition.

Or a beautiful re-issue.

true--there's a bookstore by my house that had a copy of the reissue of dmsr, but it pops up rarely and when it does i don't have any money on me to buy it.

it only reappears when i'm broke! bawl

soft cover. But thing is, if its a library book (which it often is), then the covers get fucked up easier with soft-back. Iam very untidy and really do not look after things very well sad
