ok, this is kinda cool

see, where i live, i have two bedrooms upstairs, and the master bedroom is one the main level. its a nice layout, except that with all the 'happenings' here at the house, the kids dont want any part of sleeping upstairs alone.

we were at target the other day, and my son saw an air hockey table. he got all excited and said he wanted that... i quickly told him there is no room in our house for that, so dont even put that on the list !! but, then i got to thinking....

how about if i moved my bedroom upstairs ? i could tell the kids im turning my room into a beading room yeah, they'd believe that...


sooooo.....

now, my room will be turned into a game room kinda thing. my mom brought some awesome disco lookin chairs from her store. we got the air hockey table and an electric dartboard im moving my disco ball in there, finally got a lava lamp that i have always wanted and when my mom arrives from out of town, we are set to paint this room a lime green color with some kinda funky designs on the wall...

the kids have NO idea why we are doing all this, and im so excited i cant hardly keep quiet about it !

whatcha think about my great idea ?

oh, so that you can kinda picture it.... the layout of the house is - when you walk in, theres a living room/dinning room (all one long room), kitchen is off the dinning room. then you go down a hallway, bathroom and laundry room are on either side of that... leads into the master bedroom which is long, but not very wide (strange layout for a master bedroom if you ask me)..... there are sliding glass doors off from that room which lead onto the back patio, thats where we have the grill (which is odd because when i have folks over to grill out, we have to walk through my bedroom, see, its strange) and about 5 feet off the patio, theres a basketball court with a walking trail and wooded area behind that.

so, in my opinion, the house will "flow" better this way....

i hope i get a digital camera from Christmas, i'll post a picture and show you how cute it turns out

we just moved our bed up onto this base that TR made ... now we need steps up to get into the bed i am so excited



our bedroom has always been on the second floor ...
