Unfortunately I wear both and my left eye gradually gets worse as each year passes.

This year I am considering getting my eyes zapped with the lazer since I found out my insurance would cover up to $1,200 each eye. I'm a little afraid of that, though.

yup...bi-focals... so what I can't see thru the top I can see thru the bottom...

I believe I may be the blindest Orger.

I've had 3 vitrecomies on my right eye, one of them took nine hours for the surgery and had to be redone a month later because I fell.I can only see a little gray strip of light at the top of my eye. My other one is slowly losing rods and cones and will need surgery some day,could be next week , could be in 30 years.
Anyway be thankful for what sight you have,and for the glasses and contact lenses that you are able to use.If your corrective lenses work, then you are not blind.

it has worked out very well, except at night or in the dark. Headlights and tiny lights have a lot of glare. Other then that, my vision is perfect.

The procedure was nightmarish though.... i had it done over 5 years ago, so maybe now they do more than give you a valium and a teddy bear to squeeze...
