I watched the Apprentice last night and I think THE DONALD made a good choice. I'm curious to hear what other people think about Donald asking Randall, the winner if there should be two apprentice's. Should he hire his opponent, Rebecca for the other project that Trump is working on. The winner said no. It should only be one person, him. This is after he won of course.

I don't know how I feel about it. Trump really liked them both.

I heard Melissa say "That is unfortunate." Right after the decision was made. I do agree that if the choice was only made on the last task it should've been Randall. Melissa didn't raise any money.

This what Rebecca should've done:

The client said no overt donation seeking.
But if you handed out the brochures with the donation envelopes to the guest as they entered, that would let them know why their are there. Then they could just leave the envelope in a donation box near the door when they left. No pressure. No hoping the gift bag with the donation envelope doesn't get thrown in the closet when they get home and forgotten.

The finale did it for Randall. I was with him until then (ass)

that was an unfair spot to put him in. I agree with his reasoning, but saying that did make him look like an arrogant buffoon. If Trump wanted her to work, he should have just given it to her.

And I LOVE Carolyn!!!! She's a reality judge who does seem real. As for her age, she does look 37, but that is young for the level at which she is working.

I don't think he looked arrogant at all. He looked gutsy.

The goal all along was for one winner. He stuck to the goal, Trump didn't.

Donald Trump was an ass for even putting Randall in that position. He owes Randall an apology.

It was an insult. What person who works for weeks to earn a win would capitulate and share the win with someone else. That was a bullshit question from Trump.

Why should Randall fall on the sword for that girl?

None of the other winners were asked to share their win.

Trump doesn't have to ask anyone's opinion of who to hire. If he wanted to hire Rebecca he should have just done it later like he did with Amy on her season. He put Randal in a no-win situation. If he said yes, he would have looked like a weak punk ass. If he says no, people says he looks like an arrogant punk ass. This should not have been his dilemma.

And that timing! Randall was celebrating with his friends and Trump INTERRUPTED him , called him back over, and asked if he should hire Rebecca. WTF? Asshole.

Do you want Randall or not? If you were uncertain with your decision, don't try to water down Randal's win by trying to do a double hire seconds later. Did you not read the objective of your own show?

I am shocked that so many people thought that was appropriate.

If I were Randall.. I woudl have said yeah, hire her as my assistant.

Randal is a class act all the way, unlike Rebecca who was quoted today bashing Randal.

Randal has gotten no respect since winning... people want to use him as a scapegoat for poor Rebecca. Look Rebecca lost. That means Trump doesn't hire her.

I do agree that the timing was bad. The show ran way to long and he should have at least had a commerical break in between this announcement, not that it owuld have changed his mind.
