I know that Alan Moore hates his books being made into films;
I know that Joel Silver pissed Mr Moore off by saying he had input in the film's production when he never had;
I know the Wachowski's appeared to be yesterday's news...

I've been in love with this story since I first read Warrior Magazine when I was like ten or eleven years old. I passed on the DC reprints (and finalisation) and instead waited for the collected graphic novel in 1990. It blew me away...

Some fans are up in arms about the "army of Vs" featured in the clip but it could possibly be a dream sequence or a symbolic metaphor.

I like how they appear to have used a specific pallete of colours in the movie: The reds are all burgundy; The yellows are sickly; The blues are icy-cold; The greens are mouldy.

I can't wait for this film. I really can't. The original story changed my perception of authority, ideaology and conflict forever. I like how the trailer makes it look like an action-movie. All the non-reading meat-heads who go see it at the opening weekend are in for a shock.
