Just Ordered an Electric Blanket Online... because I'm tired of freezing my butt off in bed at night (it's cold outside, and my bedroom is always freezing cold as well). I'm trying to keep my thermostat set a bit lower, in order to keep my gas bill down (just got my gas bill yesterday for last month, and it was almost $100!. ). Can't wait for it to arrive, so I can be cozy at night. I've been wearing like 3 layers of night clothes in an effort to keep warm, and I'm STILL cold! That electric blanket can't get here quick enough for me. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

If I had nice guy like you, funkpill, I wouldn't NEED that electric blanket. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Trouble is with electric blankets though, it that it get so toasty warm, that it makes it difficult to get out of bed in the morning. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

If you place the electirc blanket under the sheets and sleep on top of it, you can have it set lower, you will save money and it will still be warmer.

Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

Does it vibrate? No, but if someone were to create an electric blanket that vibrated, I'm willing to bet that they'd make a profit off it. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Could be! I guess you wouldn't recommend an electric blanket to a toddler who isn't potty-trained yet, or for an older person who has a bladder control problem. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Okay, the electric blanket came a few days ago (funny, but they call it a "warming blanket"). Put it on my bed right away, and I'm loving it, it's keeping me nice and warm now (no more cold nights). RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Awww, thanks. Yeah, I know what you mean, with the fires that I've been reading about here on the org lately, it makes you worry more than usual. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

They say that you can never have too much of a good thing, but when it comes to electric blankets, you might like warmth, but if it caught on fire, it might be a little too warm for most.
