because I'm tired of freezing my butt off in bed at night (it's cold outside, and my bedroom is always freezing cold as well). I'm trying to keep my thermostat set a bit lower, in order to keep my gas bill down (just got my gas bill yesterday for last month, and it was almost $100!. ). Can't wait for it to arrive, so I can be cozy at night. I've been wearing like 3 layers of night clothes in an effort to keep warm, and I'm STILL cold! That electric blanket can't get here quick enough for me.

Yeah, it is great to crawl into a bed that is toasty warm. Trouble is with electric blankets though, it that it get so toasty warm, that it makes it difficult to get out of bed in the morning.

I was going to suggest something along those lines.

If you place the electirc blanket under the sheets and sleep on top of it, you can have it set lower, you will save money and it will still be warmer.

Okay, the electric blanket came a few days ago (funny, but they call it a "warming blanket"). Put it on my bed right away, and I'm loving it, it's keeping me nice and warm now (no more cold nights).

I hope it doesn't catch on fire and burn you.
