Exactly. Unfortunately so many women still believe in that way of thinking. No progression.

So what I get out of that is that you have no potential career-wise.
That and you're not responsible enough to contribute anything.

oh, he contributes something alright....

...he contributes a prime example of how men shouldn't act, and what type of men that women should keep the hell away from. that, and he's good for a laugh.

Why do you think i have no potential career wise or nothing to contribute? I just want women to get up off their ass and contribute something for a change. Instead of waiting for the man to do it all.

Wait a minute....you're contradicting yourself here....

You say you don't like so-called outdated gender roles, but you want an ultra feminine girl who has impeccable manners? That sounds very 1940's gender role-ish to me.

hmmm

Obviously he wants it both ways. He wants a hot girly-girl to hold the door open for him & buy him dinner.

DUHHHHH!!!!!

That is NEVER going to happen. The girly-girl will EXPECT the door to be opened for her.

Describe YOUR perfect image of a possible mate rolleyes

It really doesn't have to make sense to anyone else. It's what you want in a person even if that person will never exist...

Like I said, he's free to want what he wants, it's just he was contradicting himself a bit with the gender role comment.

I have never said that i want a woman paying for me or holding the door for me. I can do that crap for myself. But i don't want a woman who has no interest in doing that stuff and only wants, needs, and expects the man to do all of that.

So are you saying that all this stuff you hate is ok as long as you both do it?

You're right, I was making a joke. But you do seem to want a girl to be ultra feminine, but only when it suits you, & masculine, but only when it suits you, and I wish you luck with that.

sure you are. you're wanting a woman who keeps herself up at all times (considered as feminine), but she'd better seek you out herself (considered as masculine).

I don't have a perfect image of a possible mate. That's dangerous.

I have a possible image of my perfect mate. razz

I have a wonderful boyfriend. Physically speaking he's totally my cup of tea. I don't believe emotional perfect matches exist. I love him so much, he loves me, and together we try to solve our difficulties. Major problem but best key if you find it is having enough space to be yourself, and enough time to be together and be one.

I think androgyny is really sexy. drool A perfect girlfriend would be more masculine then me, and able to take care of me, but without being controlling.
