I just cant drink it anymore. it bags me up.
Before we go to the pub my friends and i usually get a carry out and play playstation or watch Vh-1 and then go to the pub at around 10 pm.
Last week i turned up with a couple of bottles of wine (a cheeky little Rose(sp?)) and i got the slagging of my life.
I didnt used to like wine but now im aquiring a taste for it. I woudnt drink it in the pub though because that would be asking for trouble.
I feel a chapter in my life has closed and Lager has went with it

More than three pints is pushing it for me, then I'm onto the spirits. I'm not fussy with them - gin, vodka, rum..it's all good!

Had a regular night of console gaming with my mate where we'd hit the supermarket and buy any spirit that looked interesting. And we'd drink it straight. Eugh..

One time my mate was almost sick on my lounge carpet, I saw some saliva come out his mouth I'm sure, and we were both down on our hands and knees patting the carpet trying to find whatever had come out as we couldn't see it.

But then we were both blind drunk so would have been difficult anyway.

Anyway, where was I?? Oh yes.. Well, suffice to say I think I'm getting past it too mate..

Those drunken antics are beyond my comprehension now. Nothing wrong with rose, I like it too. And Bacardi Breezers! I wouldn't buy one in a pub mind you, for reasons you've explained. The macho attitude about drinking still exists, even in the naughties!
