There are four wire mailboxes in the lobby of the flats where I live. They're all padlocked but you can obviously see if you have post or not because they're made from wire... When I left my flat for work yesterday morning, I saw that there was a letter marked "Air Mail" sitting in my basket. I was on the last minute for work (again), so didn't have time to unlock my front door; go get the padlock key; open the mailbox; take the mail into my flat and lock everything back up again. I intended to retrieve the mail when I got home.

Well, when I got home, eight hours later, it was gone. I'm currently unsure how. I don't know if somebody reached through from the outside (but they'd have to have arms as thin as a skeleton) or if somebody has found a key that fits my padlock.

I'm guessing it was a X-Mas card from somebody here. So, I apologise for not seeing it. If you don't receive a response from me regarding a card you may have posted, that's why. I'm sorry.

Shit, that sucks. The person who stole it can probably do nothing with it.
