I like some of the cartoons on tcn because they're not obviously made for adults in that try-hard post-Simpsons kind of way. They're quirky, silly, nonsensical and great to just sit back and unwind to. | |

I like some of the cartoons on tcn because they're not obviously made for adults in that try-hard post-Simpsons kind of way. They're quirky, silly, nonsensical and great to just sit back and unwind to. i don't like 'family guy'...it's witty sometimes, but i think the humor is too arch (i know, seems like i should like it then...but i don't like mean for mean's sake)...i like brak for the same reason you said. it's just completely dumb and irreverent. i like tangential humor a lot, and it's rare to find anything on tv that does it right...which is odd, because it's so easy to do. | |
