Tell Me About Narnia? Who's going?
Who's not? What's the target audience? Children? Teens? Adults? Christians? Sci-Fi/Fantasy people? Zoo-keepers? All of the above? Who or Where is Narnia? Where/when does it take place? . [Edited 12/13/05 8:19am] ---------------------------------

I don't think I know what this is. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

Looking forward to this one. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

I'll probably go and get all nostalgic; my mom read all seven books to my sister and i when we were really little.

Saw it this weekend, thought it was fantastic. Faithful adaptation that really pulled it off. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

Saw it last night, and it was wonderful. Much better than I was afraid it was going to be. I give it a solid "A".

Is it suitable for a 6 year old? Or is it too scary?

Is it suitable for a 6 year old? Or is it too scary? In Holland the spoken version is 6, as well as 20 minutes shorter. The UK version here is 12.

Is it suitable for a 6 year old? Or is it too scary? For the most part it's fine, but there are a few scenes that'll rattle 'em up. You may want to see it yourself first, or wait to watch it at home.

Already saw it. I had some minor problems with it, but a good movie overall. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Is it suitable for a 6 year old? Or is it too scary? Depends on your 6 year-old. My three year-old loved it, but very little scares him. My niece showed him the first Lord of the Rings, and he loved it, so there ya go (he was 2 at the time). Some kids would be scared, but I think most will enjoy it. The battle sequences are cool, but they are bloodless. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. I really don't like these kind of stories.....probably won't see it.
I am looking forward to Spielberg's 'Munich' and Mendes' Jarhead!

I saw it yesterday. I've never read the books so I didn't know what to expect from it.
Well, I think the movie is simply beautiful (brilliant actors, sound score and visual effects) I can only say I've now ordered the box set of the 7 books (Christmas time will be a nice occasion to read them all for the first time!) [Edited 12/12/05 12:23pm] As one door closes, another opens...

Is it suitable for a 6 year old? Or is it too scary? Here they rated it as 11 yo, which means if you're 7-10 you can go with an adult. I wouldn't bring a 6 yo to this though, I think they did it "too well" for that.

Does anyone know who the actress is that plays the witch? It looks like Cate Blanchett. Is it?
