Pregnant women or women who are aren't do not need a man to protect them from anything. You are underestimating your own gender. There are lots of options for most women to get help without needing an "alpha male".

For the heterosexual female who has chosen to have a child TOGETHER with her partner, financial, emotional and physical support is what she will need - these are the things he can provide.
I am not underestimating my gender, but you are underestimating the fear, the worry, the pain, the intensity of emotion involved with bringing children into the world. It is one of THE hardest jobs in the world, and a woman should not be expected to do this on her own, especially if she is in a loving relationship with the father of her child.

alpha male = Brad Pitt
alpha female = Angelina Jolie

= alpha kids.

Brad Pitt isn't an alpha male. An alpha male is a leader and a man that other men want to be like. Brad is more of a pretty boy or metrosexual.

Not many actors are alpha males. Maybe Mel Gibson and Clint Eastwood fit the bill. By the nature of the industry it's more likely the director will be the alpha male (which Mel and Clint are).

I was having a conversation with a friend of mine this weekend and he posited that heterosexual women are fucking-up the world by preferring to mate and/or reproduce with alpha-males, regardless of their levels of sensitivity and/or intelligence (incidentally, he paid me a backhanded compliment by basically suggesting I am an intelligent, sensitive, overly-aggressive male lol).

So, how 'bout it?: Are straight girls taking us all to hell in a handbasket? hmmm

LOL....can't happen dude...because just like all men are not Alpha Males....Neither are all the women, so in essence.....THERE IS SOMEONE FOR EVERYBODY!

lol This is his perception, based on the fact that he's seen me pick-up women. He's calling me an alpha, but trying to soften it by saying I am an "intelligent, sensitive" alpha.

If you have a man that gives that to you then god bless. But it can easily be done without one. It does not have to be a man and it sure as hell does not have to be a "alpha male". And i don't care how tough being pregnant is, you don't need physical protection from anything.

"Women are brilliant". Some are. Some are not. I would say it may be 30/70 they are brilliant. I meet sooooo many that are not.

Just telling the truth.

"Women are brilliant" is a total blanket statement. Because there are plenty of women who are not. I meet them all the time. What's wrong with saying this?

Your comment does not make sense because you can't decide whether you want to meet someone before you even see them!!!

I am going by the women i come across all the time. I don't see much brilliance. And this is over a long period of time. So i think those odds are pretty accurate.

My husband is probably not one really hmmm

though he is a leader in every aspect of his life - very take charge, and nobody would dare mess with him if they did not know him well. He does not care what other people think of him, but has no aggressive or violent tendencies but uses his intelligence to get the desired outcome. So what is that? confuse

I think women are attracted to them because they are viewed as having good genes, physically strong etc. Women want to pass these genes on to their children.

It can be worse when an Alpha has "decided" to use your genes for his children. Go and talk to an Alpha...

As (I think) an Omega myself, I almost never met an omega.
