I just got home from all the festivities. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors in English. I now have two B.A. degrees - one in English and one in Film Studies, with a Minor in Professional Writing. At my Film Studies reception I also received the Outstanding Film Student award!

So now...my gown and tassles are in a heap on my bed, my room is a mess from finals week, and...well...I don't really know what to do. No looming paper or project? What?!?

My plans now? No clue. Work, save up, travel. Then grad school, where I can be a nerd all over again. I love it.

I think I'll go take a nap. This feeling is way too weird.

It was absolutely good for me! I love my university and the wonderful opportunities it gave me! I will remember it quite fondly.

I graduated May 2004 with a degree combining computer science and media classes.

I still have dreams that it is my last semister and there is one class I haven't been going to, because I didn't know where it was, and that if I don't pass that class I will not be graduating. It's a strange dream. How would you not have known about a class you had to be in or where it was?

I still haven't framed my deploma.

I have given good thought to grad schooling. I think I would like to finsh a couple other degrees first. I don't know. Maybe some day. I just moved to Arizona, and where I am at has a branch of the state college. The branch is still small, but the area it growing.

Yeah, I am already having that "phantom limb" experience where I keep thinking I had another project/paper to complete. I'm sure I will be having those dreams as well because school has been such a major part of my life. Congrats on your degrees - you should have an easier time finding a job than me!

I designed the degree to work from home over my computer. I made a job rather then taking one. Yes, I am doing well with it. It's a good thing for me because I was so poor for so long. I am sure you will do well too.
