I remember watching a tv programme in class, and i remember sitting next to the fittest girl at the time. I remember everyone went "ew" when the short film showed a couple in their 40's getting out of bed completely naked to bill withers "lovely day" beign played in the background. Why bill withers? I guess the filmakers wanted the ghastly average looking 40 year olds, look more appealing to us 11 year olds.

Everyone laughed and other then that, i remember some patronizing crap about "this is called a penis", and then the girls again went "ew" and then "this is a vagina" (in a serious tone) and us boys went "ew" back and the girls didn't like that

I never had any. yay catholic high school!

the sex ed class i was in happened during a portion of the home economics class when i was in 7th grade or so. we had to watch these ridiculously bad '70s sex ed films...i vividly remember the film for male puberty, because there was this one part where the victim boy-in-pubescence had awoke one morning to find out that he had had a wet dream. he was panicked as hell, stripping the sheets off his bed and stuffing 'em in the clothes hamper so his mom wouldn't find out, all the while his mom was downstairs or wherever and was all like, "johnny, what are you doing??" he was like "uhhh, nothing mom!!" god, that was fuck'd...

the stuff for female puberty wasn't much better--the film we had to watch was totally condescending, plus we got these free samples of maxi pads and a little booklet about menstruation. i remember feeling a bit sorry for guys, because they have wet dreams and their voices crack n'shit like that whilst going through puberty and girls had it somewhat easier--we grow tits and bleed, basically. save for me, i unfortunately started early in the tit department...i started growing boobage when i was about 9.

I seriously doubt that. The Catholic Church forbids the use of condoms, or any other "artificial" birth control. (Most American Catholics ignore this rule, BTW.) Natural Family Planning, which includes the Rhythm Method, is the only permissible option.

My (non-Catholic) ex-wife was a teacher at a Catholic school, and they provided her with special health insurance that would not cover birth control pills or abortion.

Then we did sex ed again in 8th grade. I don't remember whether we needed parental permission for that.

Finally, the state mandated one more round of sex ed in 10th grade, as part of a health class. But I took that class via independent study, and if I had to get permission for anything, it was simply doing it on my own.

I went to both a Catholic primary AND secondary school! I got taught about sex from Grade 5- some were even err lucky enough to be educated at grade 4 about sex. We had to take a consent form i remember. And i remember being very scared about getting my mum to sign it. But she did it. IT was bad though- i kept visualising the two teachers teaching it having sex. It was gross.

In high school one class got to put a condom on a glue stick, but because my science teacher was a male, that didn't happen in mine!

LOL every freakin teacher i had who taught it made me invisualise them having sex is that dirty? It's cause they stand around saying 'and the vagina recieves the penis' and all that pffft omg

How in the hell are you people going to Catholic schools and being taught about condoms???!!!
