This f*cker sitting next to me is getting on my nerves!

I have the male co-worker who sits next to me and he is getting on my last nerve. He annoys me. He snaps his fingers just out of the blue, makes funny noises, busts into song, hops on the floor to make it shake (we're on the second floor) and it just irritates me. He didn't start acting like this until we moved into a different building. Almost everyone was upset about the move because we were secluded before and know we're surrounded by other departments. His mind aint been right since. I keep my headphones on to avoid hearing the sounds but during the 8 hour day, I hear him. He used to listen to music with headphones but stopped because he said it was distracting eek so, I guess he's taking that energy and distracting others. I thought he was a cute catch with a good head on his shoulders, but now I know why he's single rolleyes My lord! Am I trippin'?

lol No, I don't think so because he wasn't acting like that before we moved locations, plus he's trying to apply out of the department so he might be a little fed up about his work situation

sounds like you be trippin to me.

We can choose to focus or ignore any number of sensory inputs that come our way during a day. Sounds to me that you spend to much time focusing on his behaviors.

lol

Situations like that are hard because you try to keep from saying anything but the there's the potentiality that you could one day lose it and blurt it out in a less than professional manner.

I sit near a woman who constantly clears her throat. I think it's more of a tick than an actual attempt to clear her damn throat. It's loud and rough sounding, like it should hurt but I guess it doesn't because she does it ALL. DAY. LONG.

I've actually found myself watching the clock to see how many times she does it in a minute. I know it bothers other people but no one wants to say anything. How do you even begin?

Sometimes I fear I'm just gonna snap and say, "Will you stop it!" mad
Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

The office environment is full of people who just grate on your nerves.
I work with a whole bunch of chit-chatty people who really enjoy talking. It's especially tough when they're older, because it's impossible to tell an old person to "shut yer friggin' pie-hole and let me work".
As far as 'ol boy goes, you might wanna tell him to calm down. He sounds like an only child with the attention span of a sugar glider.

He's the youngest of three with a 10 year difference between him and the one before him

Hope you will find enough love in youself to not let behaviours of another human being affect you.

Buy youself a plant and focus on it instead of him. Good Luck ! Positivity !
