It depends on what i am getting complimented on. Women have complimented me on my mouth, neck, shoulders. Garbage like that. That's supposed to impress me? Flatter me with something really good!!! I am not big on flattering people so i don't know how far it will get a person.

no matter what it is, i don't know how to respond to being complimented. i don't want to come off as a goofy or as too arrogant.
i analyze everything that people say and only believe half of it if not none of it. i always feel like there's some kinda motive

I have a CarrieMpls story.

We were all at Muse's talking about gay issues and politics. Muse's aunt was there and we were kind of having a Gay101 class. Carrie mentioned her experience with gay people. She said something like "I have always been around fabulous people....." I thought that was the cutest thing. She said it matter-of-factly and honestly. I don't know how many people noticed her choice of words but to me it just showed me how much she respected her friends.

I guess if look at it a certain way, it could be interpreted as a clompliment.

I won't deny that i like a bit of flattery- but itz gotta be sincere- and not sarcastic. Due to a past experience with this one chick who USED to be my friend- i am wary of how i take complimentz!! I like compliments, but sometimes they are unexpected and then I don't know how to take them and get all uncomfortable. I also like to give compliments. It's nice to see how people start glowing because you complimented them. And I mean sincere compliments.
