yeppers--one of the birthday presents to myself shall come in the form of one of these:



...a septum piercing. i've been wanting one ever since i was about 13, so i figure i'd better get one while i'm still young instead of waiting till i'm 30 or something like that. it'll be my 2nd piercing (i got my ears pierced when i was about 14), and most likely the only other piercing i'll get. i'll try and get a picture of me with my new piercing soon enough to put up on here.

I got it almost two years ago. It's very painful and weird to get used to but it healed up beautifully after two weeks. You've all seen it.

I'd almost be inclined to get a belly button ring- but i dont' really wear midriffs so i'm not sure!

My aunty used to have a nose ring. She wore traditional kinda Indian costumes from time to time and her husband is Hindu. That was when i was a kid though. I LOVED it- i never wanted her to take it off. When she did i was so dissapointed

Very cool. I'm not sure a septum piercing would look good on me... but, it's probably the only facial piercing I could get away with, as I could hide it with a "retainer" when I'm in court or whatever.
