heard lots of people had focusing problems.. but i've dealt with digital cameras for a long time now.. i do photography of downtown jackson landmarks.. so that doesn't bother me.. i love the "help" programs it has.. that explains why and if its blurry.. etc.

this is me. I found if you are really into photography, don't beat around the bush, get the camera that's the best to you. I must say don't waste your money buying a box camera, go and get yourself the slr. [Edited 12/8/05 13:31pm] News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.

I have done some really great shots with these types of cameras.. besides, Its just about the only thing I can afford for my hobby as of now.. and at a 6.2 meg camera.. doesnt seem like that bad of a deal. I need the wide angle, and it is on this one.. I dunno.. I have found some of these to be just as effective as the more expensive one's...

Most of the "box" type cameras take less time to set up for a shot, but they give you less control over the image. Check out this website for all your digital photo needs. They take your digital images and make real photo-paper pictures of them. They also do enlargements up to 20x30. I have been using this company for well over 15 years. http://www.yorkphoto.com/ News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.

It really is a joy to work with. I have a 50mm lens with an f.stop of 1.8. that's awesome in low light. It is however a little thight. I also have a 18-55mm, but the stop on that is something like 3.5, this is a great lens for high light shots. I really learned photography on a pentex k1000. I am happy with the EOS because it gives me the full range of manual controls. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
