was just noticing that garth brooks and trisha yearwood got married (his second, her third)..i think garth was sneaking around with her while still married, so i ask..in general...can you have a full sustained relationship with someone who cheated on someone else to be with you?

Just b/c they came together under shady circumstances doesn't mean the 2 aren't meant for each other. Maybe it's real enough to keep either from straying, who knows but them... & time...

I am a good man. In the end, no matter what happens, I will at least, AT LEAST, be able to rest confertably in the knowledge that I was a good man and didn't fall into a lustful relationship outside my marriage.

If you can't be happy in the relationship you wed into, I doubt you will ever be happy in any relationship.

Happiness isn't another's responcability to you. If you are unhappy, don't look to blame others for the fault is your own.

In a marriage or not i would not be able to forgive or forget something like that. I would be kicking her ass to the curb. And telling everybody what she did.

I wouldn't necessarily choose to have a relationship with someone who's cheated on someone else, but I don't think it's fair to judge them for it either. Unless you're one half of a marriage you can't really be aware of what circumstances may have occurred to cause it to happen in the first place. Some people are serial cheaters but others see it as a way out or are unhappy with what they have.

I think I would give the person the benefit of the doubt until I had heard their full story.

Sorry, i misunderstood the question. I have never cheated so the question does not apply to me.

my dad cheated on my mom all of their marriage, until she kicked him out 28 years ago--he ended up marrying his mistress and they are still together....but i know my dad has a chick on the side (he brought this heiffer to my job, but pretended like they wasn't together, duh)..i told my mom and we got a good laugh out of it. of course, now when i got to his house i gotta see my stepmom, who he cheated with and is now chating on...it was awkward being there and knowing..but part of me was like "you took him from somebody, so you deserve this!
