One of the reasons i want out of Toronto. The winters are too freaking cold. I would love to move to California. Even the name of it sounds nice.

You could tell anyone a bedtime story and it would sound like a lullaby and put them right to sleep, smiling all the while. And yes, you win the competition for best pic taken of me all weekend. |

Don't get rid of the computer, though. There may only be one component that went out on it and would be a heck of a lot easier to replace than a whole system. My younger brother once gave me his computer because he thought it was shot, and here only the power supply on the thing had gone bad. The rest of the system worked perfectly once I bought another power supply (which are on sale at Best Buy right now for about $20). See if someone can take a look at it and come up with a cost-saving solution if it's possible.
For the broken knob, $150 for a used one seems a bit steep. I suppose 90% of that is for labor. After all the stuff you've had to go through, you deserve a big hug.

Sorry to hear about your computer blues....and I'm so glad your car didn't get towed like you thought it would.
It's cold over here, I know, it's not as cold as Minny. I had a good morning but yesterday morning was the worst. My hangover decided to kick in one day after I drank. I'm glad you're home safe and sound. M MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop!
