well, it's not really a booger, it just kinna feels like one; i've got a niobium septum retainer in my nose, so it'll stay outta sight when i go to work (can't have a full-out captive ring in the office...wish i could  ) Interesting that they're okay with visible ink, but not with piercings. actually i just got in to work--i walk to work every day, and surprisingly my retainer didn't freeze at all. when i get a captive ring put in it'll probably be a whole different story.  | |

for the next couple months i gotta dip my nose in this salt water concoction 2 to 4 times a day to clean out the piercing so it'll heal quicker...that's gonna be weird as hell.
Yay!! Yeah, it is a good kinda hurt.  Last time I got pierced he told me to walk over to the mirror to see what I thought and I couldn't yet stand up, I was so dizzy w/endorphins or whatever.  I don't know what it is, but it makes me feel high for a few hours after, even. When I had my nipples done I went to a friend's after and they could tell I wasn't quite right yet. I stay dizzy for a while. |

Heh... my theory is that one's body heat keeps the jewelry warm enough to prevent this from happening. I used to worry about it during my first Indiana winter after getting pierced, but I never had any problems.
