What's the most you've ever paid...

... for a pair of EARRINGS (for yourself or as a gift)?? hmmm

I've been looking for a certain pair for about 2 years now (saw them on someone, fell in LOVE w/ them!!) & now I've found them woot! But they cost WAY more than I'm used to paying for earrings omg

So I'm torn. pout Being a Berkeley street merchant type of girl batting eyes lol I just can't see paying $60 a pair for something that's just silver/gold filled whofarted

But the shape man, the SHAPE...

Is it worth it if I'm totally in love? mushy (I want 3 pair!! 2 of the layered hoop, one of the double hoop...) razz or am I just the cheapest bitch on the Org? confused

I could probably get a dude in Berkeley to make them for like $20 hmm But it's so much easier to just click "order" sad

I'm not exactly sure what the earing cost, but last year for Christmas I spent a little over $900 for a bracelet and a pair of earrings for my wife.

Yes, it is easier for me to spend the money on her or my kids. Her ultimate gift would be a rolex. This may be a possibility for Christmas 2006.

If you feel that strongly about them, it's totally worth it. smile

Me - I never spend money on earrings, and rarely do I spend much on jewelry for myself. I'm pretty simple when it comes to jewelry. But a few years ago I fell in love with a bracelet and pendent that were black onyx and silver and paid much more than I usually would spend on that sorta thing. It was indeed worth it. I'm still happy with them.

But they're quality earrings you will likely have for the rest of your life. When you start buying nice jewelry, you can almost think of it as an investment. I remember how good I felt finally buying something nice for myself that I would have forever. It's a good feeling. And I think something every woman should do for themselves at some point. smile

I paid $55 for a thumb ring and over 200 for the matching bracelet.

I rarely buy earrings for myself. I think i've gotten everypair i ever owned as a gift...nod

But that was when i had no kind of expenses. Thrill buying days are over.

I love earrings!!!! love love love!!!!

I'll splurge and go over the 50 mark. But it usually has to be a precious metal. I usually spend about 10 to 15 on a pair (once a month I buy a new pair...it's like shoes for women to me)

It's totally why I have short hair. I love short hair and some sharp ass earrings.

I have many pairs of earrings. Most are gold as I can't wear costume for too long as they bother my ears. I've paid several hundred for diamond earrings, but for just gold I usually pay under $150.00.

i'm not too big on earrings, even though my ears are pierced...perhaps when i get my cartilage pierced or something, then i'll start getting into wearing 'em again.

from what i remember, the most i've paid is like $10.
