DOOM - The Movie not a bad film, not as bad as i thought it would be at least. Some good one liners. The twist near the end was pretty good, i didn't expect The Rock to get killed..lol!
He even say's "i'm not supposed to get killed" But the killer part of the movie was where it goes to First Person Shooter perspective how awesome was that? Was that sequence all CGI?...because i didn't belive it was, i thought it was live filming and the gun was CGI and some of the monsters...but the rest was "real". Man it rocked, the DVD is apparently gonna have an unrated 12 minutes sequence "Waiting to be banned"

Movies as such are put out so that the people not good enough to finish the game can see how it is done. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

Aint heard good things about DOOM. Hate the fact TheCock is trying to fill the space Arnie Spuggynegger has left.
I just hope the HALO movie is way better, but movie/game or game/movie conversions can easily be oh so shit, specially when the original is excellent. "...because no-one gets there alone." - "...I like the floor. It's the only thing that seems real."

The latest PC Gamer magazine had this to say as a result of seeing DOOM and having a few suggestions for any more video game movies from Hollywood:
1. Needlessly changing the plot alienates your fan base! This is in referrence to changing the plot from "invasion from hell" to "tampering with DNA is bad." 2. Wasting money on pointless special effects can -- ironically -- make your film look cheap. 3. If you introduce a Big F'ing Gun, F'ing kill something with it! Sadly, the BFG was terribly underused. 4. No more drawn-out, gimmicky first-person-perspective shots! I have to agree that it was a bit cheesy. 5. Never end a film based on a first-person shooter with a martial-arts fight! I was thinking "Deathmatch" when it was just the two characters left, but I would have been happier if they would have ended it with them going at each other with chainsaws.

Oh please. Dwayne Johnson's roles are different. Definitely a lot more versatile. Repo Man's got all night, every night.
