Finally saw HOTEL RAWANDA and MOTORCYCLE DIARIES

Good Gawd!! I cried on both. These are the movies that even in this day and age, make me realize what a fucked up world we live in. Luckily these movies give us some kind of hope.

Both movies were great.

I still have yet to see Hotel Rawanda. I have to mentally prepare myself for that. Loved Motorcycle Diaries! It was so beautifully made. Of course I'm a HUGE fan of Gael Garcia Bernal-tan atractivo y tan talentoso (I WILL marry him one day). So, seeing this movie was a must for me. I was also impressed with the performance of Rodrigo De la Serna. I knew very little of the personal life of Che before seeing it. WOW! What a life. Very inspiring.

falloff I know...He looks so much like JULIA ROBERTS in that movie! But he's acting is so intense! Did you see Y Tu Mama Tambien? Or Vidas Privadas? How about Amores Perros? He is so hot! And I kinda like boys that looks like girls a little bit razz cool

Charlotte you must see those movies! Here's how obsessed I am with Gael-my family lives very close to Ciudad Juarez and I actually thought about visiting them just to catch Gael and Diego in Juarez when they do a speaking tour! I came to my senses though. That drive is crazy and Juarez is not a very safe city!

Juarez is terribly unsafe! I used to go there all the time as a child. Things are so much cheaper there. About 300 women have been raped/killed/left to die in the desert!! I like Juarez too! But hell to the naw as Whitney would say!

My husband said the same for Argentina. The council doesn't pay for anything, so the residents give some money to fix the cracked pavement and wouldn't you know it the council "loses" the money - not just once, every time sad
