Xbox 360 and why you should wait im always asked "when are you getting the xbox 360" well, ive played the xbox 360 and personally a few key points
1. to get the full effect you really need to get an HDTV 2. the games take forever to load, and then it freezes way too much 3. the reset is way to slow

i say wait for the ps3
the 360's graphics are stunning at first, but then all those other things really get obnoxious to deal with.

I've also heard that the first batch of 360's have had some technical problems, so it would be wise to wait till all the bugs are worked out.

You know? I was thinking of getting the 360. But, I have been thinking about getting every new game system. I will just stick to my Atari 2600. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

BananaCologne said: few games beat pong. If u got 3 game boys advances (and people ), link cables, and a copy of pac man for the gamecube, u could play the original packman, but whilst 1 player is the pac, the other 3 are the ghosts, and each ghost plays on the gba screen trying the catch u ( pac gets the tvscreen). Its amazing and still showed nintendo loves to be innovative, even if that does mean buying loads of other shit to get the experience.

Anybody who actually KNOWS what a quality gaming experience is will be anticipating the Nintendo Revolution, due in June 2006. It is cutting edge, and will actually utilize the accurate definition of "Next Generation Consoles". The X-Box 360 is like the bubble-gum pop of gaming systems. It is heavily marketed, over-hyped, and sterilized to entice the fashion-gamer crowd. They weren't even concerned about the quality of the system, hence all the bugs in it. Actually, all they really did was jam a faster processor into a new console, it's hardly revolutionary. People, save your money for the Revolution. Or at least, the PS3. Don't believe the hype, just because it's the first, it won't be the best. "Knowledge is preferable to ignorance. Better by far to embrace the hard truth than a reassuring faith. Don't believe the hype, just because it's the first, it won't be the best. lol! That harsh. I do agree that the x-box is mainly a processor upgrade and it's glitchy (it's running an MS O/S for crying out loud), but it does have alot of feature improvements over the previous box. But Nintendo's Revolution will be cheaper, and probably a much better system. I wish Nintendo would offer more game titles, but the cool thing about the company is that it's games are mostly quality games. People can say what they want about Nintendo but Mario and Zelda games are incredible games. Super Mario Sunshine is like having 12 games in One, and my newphew has been playing it for 2 years and keeps discovering new passages and challenges. What Nintendo needs to do is offer eye candy games rivalling x-box and playstation. With the Nintendo Revolution, I think they will. Also, the next generation handheld systems, Sony's PSP has slightly better graphics (it's hard to tell with screen's that small), but the Nintendo DS is a better system for kids. You can have 2 player games on two Nintendo DS via wireless technology, and only one of you needs to have the cartridge for the game loaded. Neat stuff.

You can have 2 player games on two Nintendo DS via wireless technology, and only one of you needs to have the cartridge for the game loaded. Neat stuff. For eye candy games for the GameCube, one doesn't have to look very far. The Metroid series provides one of the most jaw dropping graphic engines of any console, including the 360. The Resident Evil series is also astounding. Playing Resident Evil Zero, there was a scene where I put down my controller to wait for a cinematic to play out, only to realize I was in the game. Resident Evil 4 also is amazing. And, take a look at the new Zelda game set to come out soon. It is a sight to behold. GameCube lacks NOTHING except for marketing and image. Nobody knows about it, and everyone thinks it's for kids. But, it remains I first-rate system through and through. Of the three consoles, it's the only one that made money. The same will happen to the Revolution. It will slip under the radar. It will dominate, but nobody will know it, and the mainstream will duke it out over two companies that have only a fraction of the console-gaming experience as Nintendo while it quietly establishes a cult following among the true nerds . Ps3
I could never understand anyone who prefered a Nintendo. I did own a SNES though...oh happy days. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
