I haven't found any recent buzz about this - does anyone know more? I love Trader Joe's, and would like to see it get a Twin Cities location. [EDIT: I did learn from another friend that there are plans for Trader Joe's to be part of the SLP business construction project that's finishing up in 2006-07. gaaaaah, all the way out in st. louis park? That's where I grew up!

with the weeks i've been having lately, i need all the cheap booze i can get.

Anxiety said: FIRST OFF: The blue cornbread mix. Freakin' AMAZING. Anyone tried it? It has chunks of corn and jalapeno in it, it bakes purple, and it's as sweet as it is spicy. I made it for my mom over Thanksgiving, and even she went nuts for it.
Ahh, thanks for the reminder. My fav are the peanut butter filled pretzels!!! And they have a delightful blue cheese pecan spread/dip. When I move in January, I'll be 2 blocks away -- YAY!!!!! http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

I know...I was bummed about the samosas...they are total restaurant quality! I'm excited about the one pot stuff...the bad thing about going to TJs is that I'm so geeked up about trying everything that I end up eating too much.

I haven't tried that yet...I'm going to put it on my list for next time! Another great thing about TJs is that there is SO much to try! You can never get bored! One thing I saw there this weekend really brought back some memories for me from my childhood and made me smile They have a breakfast cereal called Uncle Sam's. They used to sell it in health food stores in the 70s and my dad used to by it for me. It's really good for you...you can even get a version of it with flax seed. Ahhh...Trader's
