Hey, it's Dec1. I just brought in my Christmas Tree, now I just have to open the box, put it together, put on the spirit, and then take a picture.

YAY!

Every year, since we married in 97, my wife and I go out and buy a new tree ornimate each. We often reflect eachother and they often reflect what's going on that year as such.

Also, I have one of those "smallest bibles" that I make into a ribbon and put in the tree.

I do the lights and she does the streamers.

Her cat eats the tinsel every year, so we need to put it up high. Sassy, her cat, still get a hold of it anyway. It's very festive, cat's tinsel hairballs, but she will clean it up.

Every year: we take a picture of us in front of the christmas tree.

Sounds perfunctory.

I had to search through junk draws to find the directions to put the colored tabs tree arms onto the metal poll.

Walking around, moving the arms I step on the sharp metal branch point and scrape my heal, that was bare, but at least it isn't bleeding. Keep in mind the night is still early.

I want a little mini tree...or even just some lights to brighten up my cell of a dorm room.

One year, I got some green string tincel, and I stappled it onto the wall in the shape of a christmas tree. Then I dressed it up with lights and what not. That might be a great idea for you this year.

I am almost done putting the tree together. AND, good thing!

I recalled how as a child I would lay under the christmas tree and stare up through the branches at the lights.

Then I would talk with god of how I was a gift waiting to be unwrapped
