I'll look all this up...

Our ultimate destination is up to see some friends in Bergen.

There is a great glacier not far from there so i am told, great all year round

They said they're pretty close to some good stations... And I can imagine, Norway being the moneyed country that it is, that the equipment is fairly modern. The old stations can be quaint and all, but I had a ski lift accident a few years ago and prefer the newer stations now when I can help it.

Snowblade. It suits me better than anything. My husband has an alpine surf... he's been doing this for 20 years.

this is heiress. redface ran out of replies in my usual account. this hasn't happened to me in a LONG time!

blading is cool, because you can be conservative or break-neck crazy, depending on your mood. i just didn't dig getting weighed down with all the equipment you need to ski (poles, etc) and having my two feet turned in one direction on a surf kind of threw me off too. the snowblades are like rollerblades - i feel very natural on them.

avoid hiro's!! never!! well, ok, as long as there is some other sushi place we can eat at. maybe we could dine with the "plastics" again at blue?

speaking of nebraski, we had a big snow storm in this area last weekend. i was working my part-time job (waitressing banquets at a hotel in GI) and i got snowed in! i was stuck there sunday night, then my sister (who lives in GI and was watching A) came by to drop the little one off monday morning, and she couldn't get out of the parking lot! we were all stuck there all day monday, and monday night. i didn't get home til tuesday afternoon! it was a crazy weekend. but i got to waitress the restaurant in the hotel monday. the interstate was closed so everyone was stopping and getting a room, and they all wanted to eat, and there was only one person working the restaurant (monday is usually the slowest day) so i helped out. we got slammed!! it was so busy! but i made over $100 in tips!! biggrin of course, i earned it! i didn't sit down more than 15 minutes from 10am to 10pm!

so, if you want to come to nebraski, wait til after the snow melts. biggrin

we can do plastic. they had good martinis, anyway.

good for you! which restaurant are you at? we used to stop a lot in Grand Island, on trips back and forth from Denver. GI gets the craziest weather tho - what's up with that?

dang, i'm getting nostalgic now for that snowed-in feeling. mushy

it's the howard johnson hotel, there's a garden cafe restaurant in it.

Well, that's a rather snazzy place! I didn't know they had one in GI. Used to be my grandma's favorite restaurant.

It's spelt input.

And how exactly do I think I am god's gift? You are the one thinking they are all that, I am simply pointing out that you know nothing
