LOST 11.30

So what was up with the horse and Kate's dead father coming through Sawyer? Seemed like some filler...although Kate's story was interesting, not sure the horse thing was so great. What do you other nerds think?

Looks like they're trying to play with the whole Kate/Sawyer, Kate/Jack, Jack/AL sexual tension thing...is it just me, or is Jack too good-natured to be with a badass like AL? Interesting, nonetheless...

And how about that damn ending?!?! I was about to have a heart attack. I think Walt must be in the other hatch (the one we haven't seen). Maybe the rest of the Others are there, too. The re-spliced film gave our characters a too-tempting piece of info - that communication w/the outside world is possible on their computer...I wonder if they mean intra-island communication, or world communication. I mean, I can't see that old-ass computer being connected to some weird LOST internet connection...but you never know, on this show.

Looks like next week, Echo will prove his bad-assness by killing a monster, and I bet Michael is gonna go crazy trying to find Walt.

eek eek eek

It ended with a cliffhanger over here (two weeks ago) and I´m not even sure if they will broadcast the second season.

I guess Man Of Faith, Man of Science will be the first episode of the second season , right ?

This is one of the best TV series ever...hope they´ll keep up with the interesting storyline.
I´ve already read some of the spoilers on that Lost website.

I don't know what it is with the Kate story line, but with all the hype on "finding out the REAl story with Kate" I was a bit let down by her revelations last nite.

That being said, it still was a good episode. The ending was TOO crazy. I don't think it's Walt on the other side of the computer. I do think we will have some very bad things happen in the next few episodes.

Which, ps, have you heard that there will be no new eps till January 11?

WTF??!!

Yeah, I'm thinking the preview for next week is probably the Faith vs. Science thing, although not sure...

I hope they keep it up, too, and don't exhaust themselves of storylines and possibilities...slow it down a little and not reveal so much all at once. There are still plenty of people we haven't "met" - the Others, of course...but also other people on the plane who just kind of mill about in the background. The extras. I'm thinking they'll be slowly introduced as others are killed.

Oh, I can't do the spoilers! It would ruin everything!

yeah...I do not want to hear any spoilers!

oooooh weee! that was one hot kiss between Jack and Kate! I didn't see that coming.
hmm was it Sawyer or "Wayne" who said "I love her" to jack?
the horse thing is weird but sawyer demon was a boar so I guess that makes some sense...
I'm not sure it's walt on the computor either....but maybe it is. and how come he could type on it? Locke showed us that you can't? I think it's a trap!

The missing piece of the film said not to use the computer for anything but entering the code. Then Micheal noticed the "Hello" prompt on the screen. I wonder what will happen. Locke did demonstrate that you could not type anything but the code with the computer. I think whoever is on the other end has control over the computer system. Did Michael ever watch the Movie?

I like Hurley's sense of Humor, "Rose"s hushand is white, never saw that coming."

oh crap! I think I mighta just figured something out...probably not though...
ok...long story short....
I think Wayne...might be the real con man (SAWYER) that swindled lil sawyers mom and dad and subsiquently got them killed.
omg
I kept thinking about why kate would say that everytime she starts to feel something for Sawyer she sees wayne...and well..that's what I came up with.

Yeah it might be a trap, but how could anyone else in a different part of the island know that Walt's dad is named Michael? He typed in "This is Michael. Who is this?" first. Unless one of the Others got the info out of Walt.

Michael saw the original version of the film, but not the one they re-spliced w/the crucial warning NOT to use the computer for anything but the code.

Jack and Kate's kiss....OMG they looked like they were REALLY into it, too! I mean, for real! I don't blame her. Jack is hot. I have had a crush on Matthew Fox ever since Party of Five.

Shorty, you may be onto something....I think it will be revealed that all of the characters have bumped into each other at some point...some weird web of coincidence/fate (echoing what ECHO said last night!).

POSSIBLE SPOILERS Sort of ... I mean the producers seem to be hiding this info in little corners of their websites.

Here's some cool info. There are several websites now that the producers own.

Take this one for example: http://dharmainitiative.com/
View the frame source and look at the code. It says this:

Phase 3 Disclosure: The Dharma Initiative is not a secret international research project. You see, the island is part of another "dimension", I guess you'd call it, and is sort of "in between" the universes that are made of light matter and dark matter. We call it "Dharma". It's part of a whole planet that is pretty much available for colonization. It could also be used as a future conduit for inter-dimensional/intergalactic travel. The only problem is that we can't exist there naturally. The island only materializes when there's a solar eclipse. During that time the unique electromagnetic frequency added to the gravitational distortion allows both it and us to exist within the same space. But that "effect only lasts for 108 minutes, and then the island disappears from our world, taking any inanimate matter with it that's left behind.

If you were standing on the island after the primary eclipse period ended and the 108 minutes were up, you'd feel a great big suck of air and then "PLOP!" you'd fall right back into the ocean. Naked. We are trying to change that. Actually, Majestic 13 developed a machine years ago that allows us to exist there. It's weird, but once us and the island "disappear" into the Dharma dimension, we have days and nights just like the earth one. But we can't travel more than 42 kilometers outside the machine's effective range.

The plan is to develop a way to genetically engineer animals with the right quantum frequency so they can exist in Dharma on their own. That's what the project is all about, and until now it's been classified.

The fictional tv series "Lost" is part of the worldwide disclosure plan.

Dharma: doesn't that have to do with somekind of Hindu religion or worship?

I found this site through google: http://aboutdharma.org

"Dharma" means "protection". By practising Buddha's teachings we protect ourself from suffering and problems. All the problems we experience during daily life originate in ignorance, and the method for eliminating ignorance is to practise Dharma.

Practising Dharma is the supreme method for improving the quality of our human life. The quality of life depends not upon external development or material progress, but upon the inner development of peace and happiness. For example, in the past many Buddhists lived in poor and underdeveloped countries, but they were able to find pure, lasting happiness by practising what Buddha had taught.

If we integrate Buddha's teachings into our daily life, we will be able to solve all our inner problems and attain a truly peaceful mind. Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible. If we first establish peace within our minds by training in spiritual paths, outer peace will come naturally; but if we do not, world peace will never be achieved, no matter how many people campaign for it.

That's very interesting. I wonder if that what the Dharma project refers too.
