I don't, no. My adopting them as strays and giving them lots of love and attention is enough.

I used to before I had kids Even members of my family would bring my cat a gift.

hohner hasn't asked me for anything...well, save for asking me to pay attention to 'im, that is.

My 2 gerbils (Prince and Mani) yes that's their names - will likely get some goodies to eat or something to knaw on with their sharp incisers.

since my cats are usually by themselves for a couple of days while i am away for christmas i usually buy them a new toy.
they get their present when i'm getting ready to leave.
i don't bother wrapping it but i knew i had some good stuff one year
when the cat got into the bag as soon as i brought it home from the store.

my sister and her family has a new dog this year so i can't help but pick out something for tyra.

oh my god, I used to be so corny and buy those little christmas stockings made for cats.....with the little cat treats, toys, and cat nip in there. I used to buy stuff like that throughout the year for them so it really wasn't anything special.

a chew normaly it keeps him quiet while we have christmas dinner.

Aww! Sounds like your pet has a little fan club, LOL. Some bank tellers will even give out dog bones, if you bring your dog to the drive thru window. The Dairy Queen (in our area at least, not sure how it is elsewhere) even has certain days of the week where they give out small cups of icecream to your dogs.
