if you find anything out about it, let me know too! did it ever air on HBO or at film fests even?

in the meantime, there's a small amount of squeezebox footage in the special features documentary that comes with the 'hedwig and the angry inch' dvd...it's a pretty cool documentary if you haven't seen it. it's about 90 minutes long.

I'm trying to find more info about it. I guess it ran at a film festival in Florida...but, it seems to have lost steam. Hmmm...I wonder if there's another way to find out info.
I have that documentary...it rocks! It just makes me want to see the whole feature length documentary. I never went to the club, but I know that some amazing music and performances came from there. Plus, I can imagine that the vibe and the atmosphere must have been so liberating and amazing. smile

when i think of my life in NYC, i think the nights i went to squeezebox were some of the coolest times i had in the city. it was exactly everything i could ever have wanted in a dance club, from the music to the people to...just about everything. the people who ran it do 'reunion' nights sometimes...i went to one last year on labor day at the roxy called "motherfucker" and the music was freakin' FANTASTIC and there were at least a thousand people there shakin' their butts, including a fantabulous woman dressed exactly like ziggy stardust who boogied next to us all night. good times. nod
